rhythm comes in many forms

"i often dream of trains when i'm with you"

Múm - Asleep on a Train
The Notwist - Off the Rails
Zoviet France - Amber

We're off the rails. Now we are trains ourselves. No wait and see, we're off this place, doesn't mean we're somewhere else. This is all I know: keeping still to watch the engines come and go.

we always knew we were different.

or: Creepiness as a Light in the World

Learning, Arts, and the Brain, a study three years in the making, is the result of research by cognitive neuroscientists from seven leading universities across the United States. In the Dana Consortium study, released in March 2008, researchers grappled with a fundamental question: Are smart people drawn to the arts or does arts training make people smarter?

In their paper "How Arts Training Influences Cognition," Posner et al. argue that there are specific brain networks for different art forms, that there is a genetic factor for interest or openness to the arts, and that this leads to specific cognitive advantages, particularly when dealing with conflict.

What that means to me is, the people who understand. We're different.

Biological. I don't know why I feel the way I do. Let's merge our DNA.
